"Intimité #10" n°1 - Eddie Ladoire
Création Radio France - 2019
Invited to work on the sound identity of the Maison de la Radio, Eddie Ladoire used the characteristic sound properties and materials recorded on site to design the 10th opus in his "Intimité" series, devoted to the resonances of buildings. Architectural spaces are often regarded as silent receptacles of sound. However, materials and volumes act as transformers, creating sound circulation effects that can be amplifiers, dampers or filters. In this way, a place, associated with a given use, generates a particular type of sound environment.
